SCAM ALERT: Fake Email Asking For Account Information
Scam Email Warning:
Several BCT Members have reported receiving an email like the one pictured below in the last 24 hours. This is a scam and is not from our cooperative. Do not click on any of the links within the message. If you have, we encourage you to change your password for your BCT email account immediately.
How to tell this is a scam:
- Email is not from an official BCT email domain like @BCTonline.com or @BCTelcom.com
- Missing words in the main headline. Should read "Thank You"
- & 4. Soon and Update Now are intended to create a sense of urgency to avoid scrutinizing the mistakes in the email structure.
