You may have already heard that the Historic Carus Schoolhouse is scheduled to be moved to a new location. Some BCT members along Carus Road on the west side of Highway 213 and those on Mueller Road will see their voice and/or internet service impacted by the schoolhouse move. 

Carus Road

As of 5PM on August 8, the date of the move to cross Carus Road is scheduled for the morning of Monday, August 14. During that time, several local utilities, including BCT, will temporarily remove their overhead wires to allow the building to move unimpeded down the road. During this time, you will experience an interruption of BCT voice and/or internet services as early as 7AM until the move is completed. Our crews anticipate that BCT services should be restored by 12PM. 

Mueller Road 

As of 5PM on August 8, the date of the move to cross Mueller Road is scheduled for the morning of Wednesday, August 16. During that time, several local utilities, including BCT, will temporarily remove their overhead wires to allow the building to move unimpeded down the road. During this time, you will experience an interruption of BCT voice and/or internet services as early as 7AM until the move is completed. Our crews anticipate that BCT services should be restored by 12PM.
